Who We Are
To Our Grateful Woods Guests,
Grateful Woods is perhaps the most personal of all our properties. After all, we initially created it for us, after a fruitless search for the perfect place to get married somewhere that was completely unique and immersed in nature. Once we realized we weren’t going to find it elsewhere, we had an idea—if we can’t find the perfect place, let’s make the perfect place.
In March of 2019, we bought the 75-acre farm and began working on renovations to transform it into a venue that transcended time and enchanted all who came to visit. In September of 2020, we got married on the property, celebrating our own love story as well as the passion that we had poured into Grateful Woods. Surrounded by 50 of our closest loved ones, we realized we had built a place that we wanted to share with the rest of the world.
We have continued to renovate, update, and expand the property in the years since, infusing a bit more magic into it every day. Running the property suited us so well that we decided to grow throughout the Hudson Valley and Catskills, adding more large-group focused properties to our budding hospitality group. But even as we love each one of the spaces we create, Grateful Woods holds a special place in our history and our hearts. While the world keeps on spinning and life continues on, Grateful Woods remains a place that you can step into and leave it all behind for a little while.
We look forward to welcoming you soon,
Casey and Marc
